Coke and Mentos

Last Friday, A5, A8 and D5 worked together. We went outside and did  coke and mentos experiment. It  was so much fun. We saw that diet coke and mentos fizzed more than coke and mentos.

Blowing a Balloon

We have  used vinegar and baking soda to blow a balloon.We put baking soda in a balloon and poured vinegar in a bottle. When we tipped the baking soda into the bottle, the balloon blew up.

Making S'mores

Last Friday, we made S'mores. We saw what happened to marshmallows when we placed it in the microwave for 20 seconds. It was delicious and everyone enjoyed eating S'mores. 

Making Toast

We have been learning about different States of Matter. A5 and A8 children made toast. What spread do you like to put on your toast?

Making Pancakes

We made pancakes with Ms Mulrennan. We mixed ingredients to make a batter and used heat to cook our pancakes. Once it was cooked, we left it to cool before we ate it. It was delicious. Thank you Ms Mulrennan.

Maori Language Week

Last week, it was Maori Language Week. We had been learning this song and would like to share the song with our families and friends.
